Interior Woods

When it comes to interior woods, Nordecor is your one-stop shop, providing a
coordinated wood decor theme that incorporates the selection of wood species,
grades, finishes, and styles across the millwork spectrum of Flooring, Paneling,
Mouldings, Stair Parts, Railings, Doors, and Windows. The end result is natural
wood decor that is uniquely personal.

We offer both unfinished and pre-finished hardwood flooring.   The choices are
practically endless, with over 30 wood species, choice of grade, wood grain character,
color, widths, stain colors, and finish luster. Lengths will vary by species and grade.

Our unfinished hardwood flooring is solid 3/4" thick, tongue & groove, and is
available in just about any wood species that is suitable for flooring use.    We offer
hardwood flooring in specified single widths or in "random width".   Specified widths from
1 ½" to a 5" face is generally available in almost any of the hardwood flooring species
available. Wider is available on a case by case basis.   Random Width flooring comes
as an assortment of three widths - 3", 4", and 5" face.   Random Width lends itself to a
casual design, while single width is more traditional and formal.   Random Width is
generally more economical than single width for many species.   To view the species

We have several lines of prefinished hardwood flooring, all of which are 100%
wood.   There are several styles and species to choose from.   Both solid 3/4" flooring
and 1/2" engineered wood flooring products are available.   More about Prefinished

Our hardwood and softwood paneling is 3/4" thick, tongue and groove.   The most
popular style is standard V-groove, also known as "car-siding", and "WP4".   Other 3/4"
paneling profiles are available such as Beaded, Bullnose, and Mini-log.

All of our paneling products are available pre-finished with the customer's choice of
coating, environmentally compliant lacquer or acrylic. Custom pre-staining is also an
option.

Softwood Paneling (Pine, Cedar, Doug Fir, Fir Larch) is generally available in 1 x 6
(3/4" x 5" face) dimensions and lengths ranging from 8' to 16', depending on species
and seasonal availability.    1 x 4 and 1 x 8 sizes are also available for some species.

Our standard hardwood paneling products are provided in "Random Width", which is
made up an assortment of three widths - 3", 4", and 5" face. Like flooring, specific
widths are available. Random Width lends itself to a casual design, while single width is
more traditional and formal.   Random Width is generally more economical than single

Custom mouldings are one of our specialties. We are well equipped to duplicate a
pattern or create something new and unique.   We can handle those arched doorways
and bowed windows. Whether it be Casing, Base, Backband, Crown, Chair, Shoe,
Stop, or just S4S, our ability to produce both custom and standard mouldings from over
30 wood species, often in coordination with hardwood flooring and paneling jobs, sets
us apart from other millwork companies.

When it comes to doors, our specialty is in the coordination of wood species, finish, and
style within the millwork theme of the home's interior.
